Glengoyne Mizunara Oak Highland Single Malt Whisky - 53.4% ABV

This latest release from Glengoyne Distillery continues The Oak Masters’ Series, inspired by expert coopers worldwide to add new layers of flavour to Glengoyne’s signature rounded, fruity style. Initially matured for 10 years in the distillery’s traditional first-fill and refill sherry casks, the whisky was then transferred to Mizunara oak for an extended six-year finish—far longer than most. This patient, unhurried process allows the Mizunara influence to integrate seamlessly, enriching Glengoyne’s character with delicate vanilla, nutty undertones, and subtle spice that beautifully elevate its classic fruit-driven profile.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Soft vanilla and sweet toffee laced with sandalwood and hints of Japanese incense.
• Palate: Warming spices, coconut, crisp green apples, and a whisper of liquorice.
